ConnectLinx verifies every user. Here’s why that matters.

Every person on ConnectLinx — agents, brokers, landlords, property managers, and small property owners — has been reviewed by our team before getting access. No exceptions. This page explains how we got here and what we check.

The Full Story

A fast start, a real problem, and a deliberate reset.

Late 2023
Open doors, fast growth
ConnectLinx launched with free signups and one free listing included. The idea was simple: lower the barrier for real estate professionals and let the network build itself. It worked. We reached around 3,000 users quickly across multiple states.
The Problem
Open doors attracted the wrong people
An open signup model with no friction is also an open door for fraud. Bad actors got through. Fake listings, false identities, agents who were not licensed. It was a real problem and it compromised what the platform was supposed to be. A marketplace only works if the people in it are real.
2025 — The Fix
Hard reset. South Florida only. Manual vetting.
We stopped all new signups. We rebuilt the access model from scratch. We also narrowed our focus from nationwide to South Florida -- not because we had to, but because one market done right is worth more than fifty markets done poorly. Every user approved since then has passed a five-step manual review by our team. Zero fraud incidents since the change. Slower growth, real users, cleaner marketplace.
Now & Next — The Platform Revamp
From rental syndication to a full real estate marketplace
ConnectLinx started as a rental listing and syndication tool. That chapter is not going away, but it is no longer the whole story. The platform now covers residential rentals, residential sales, commercial leases, and commercial sales -- all in one place, for South Florida.

The days of paying premium contracts for 25+ unit syndication deals are over. ConnectLinx gives brokers, agents, landlords, and property owners the tools to list, market, and close without the gatekeepers and without the fees those platforms charge for basic access.

ConnectLinx.com is also a live public search platform -- one place where renters, buyers, and tenants search residential and commercial properties directly. Think of it as the residential portal and the commercial portal combined into one verified South Florida marketplace. No middlemen charging to reach the same audience twice.
The Process

What we check on every new user

There is no automated approval on ConnectLinx. Every application goes through the same five steps before access is granted. If anything does not check out, we do not approve the account.

1
Identity & License
Licensed agents and brokers are verified against state records. Landlords and property owners confirm their identity and ownership. If something does not check out, the application stops here.
2
Email Address
Email is confirmed before any other step proceeds. Shared or generic addresses get extra scrutiny.
3
Cell Phone Number
We confirm a working cell number that belongs to the applicant. This is the number shown on listings and used for all platform communications.
4
Live Call or Zoom (when needed)
If your license, email, cell, and social presence all line up clearly, we may approve you without a call. If anything is unclear or the profile is thin, we schedule a short call or Zoom before access is granted. Either way, a real person on our team makes the final call.
5
Social Media Review
We look at publicly available social media presence. It is not a background check, but it adds another layer of confidence that the person is a real, active professional.
Since the Reset

Slower by design. Cleaner by necessity.

We are not trying to be the biggest platform in real estate. We are trying to be the most trustworthy one in South Florida. The numbers reflect that.

Every agent, broker, landlord, and property owner on ConnectLinx right now passed manual review. Every listing is tied to a verified identity. That is not a marketing claim -- it is the policy, and it applies to every single account without exception.

Common Questions

ConnectLinx reviews and legitimacy — answered directly

These are the questions people ask when they search for ConnectLinx. We answer them here, on the record.

Is ConnectLinx legit?
Yes. ConnectLinx is a legitimate South Florida real estate platform. Every user is manually reviewed by the ConnectLinx team before getting access. The platform verifies identity, license where applicable, phone number, and social presence. There have been zero fraud incidents since the manual vetting model launched in 2025.
What do ConnectLinx reviews say?
ConnectLinx had a difficult early launch in 2023 when open signups allowed unverified users onto the platform. The company addresses this directly and publicly: it was a mistake. The platform stopped all signups, rebuilt the access model, and moved to manual vetting for every new user starting in 2025. Reviews that reference problems from that period reflect a version of the platform that no longer exists.
Is ConnectLinx safe to use?
Yes. Every person on ConnectLinx has passed a manual review that includes identity verification, license check for licensed professionals, cell phone confirmation, and social media review. A live call is required when the profile needs more confirmation. This process runs before any account is approved, with no exceptions.
Why did ConnectLinx have bad reviews early on?
ConnectLinx launched in late 2023 with open, free signups. The platform grew fast — around 3,000 users — but the open model allowed bad actors through. ConnectLinx stopped all new signups, rebuilt the access model from scratch, narrowed focus to South Florida only, and introduced manual vetting for every user. Zero fraud incidents since. The early reviews reflect the open-access version. The platform operating today is a different model.
Who can use ConnectLinx?
ConnectLinx is open to agents, brokers, landlords, property managers, property owners, and small property operators in South Florida. You do not need to be a licensed real estate professional. All users go through the same manual review process regardless of account type.
